is designed to encourage freedom of expression as a fantasy world would have been developed by children ages ( 3- 6 years old). Free play both indoors and outdoors acts as stimuli to increase imagination and ability for self-expression.
Indoor play includes using materials from wooden baskets to pots and pans to build and spearhead multifaceted ideas in their imaginative world. Exploration of endless ideas is cultivated here. Social interaction and role-play are other vital factors being developed during indoor play which conquers fear and makes adaptation to other beings and environment quicker.
Outdoor time – Our outdoor stimulation includes reaping benefits from nature via exercising physical touch with edible farming maintenance, seeding and pruning flowers as well as upkeeping cleanliness of the area. These activities reinforce the ideology of ‘reaping what we sow’.
Young children require a special diet for overall well-being and to minimize allergies, therefore at Morning Stars Playhouse a Waldorf- based education playschool, we provide The Life Force Diet as part of our meals program. This includes the usage of organic or bio-dynamic produce to ensure children receive the best quality foods with maximum nutrients. Aside from fresh produce, we ensure food handling is practiced in a safe and hygienic manner.
Meal times at are regarded as a social event. We not only prioritize food origins but the ritual of consumption. Utensils used by our children are mainly made from pottery as it helps motor skills development and increases sensory exploration.
Showing gratitude- is vital to nurture an appreciation for others and fostering positive relationships, therefore pre-meal times, our children are taught to bless their food and companions via a blessing melody.
To ensure children are reaping the best of non -competitive and holistic environment, aside from accommodating our hot and humid weather, clothing apparel made from cotton without loud emblems and insignias would be most suitable. Our Uniforms are organic signature 100% cotton blend that provides the utmost comfort, is naturally sustainable, hypoallergenic, and versatile.
